With its departure from the Accor group and a clear mission statement, MOA Berlin is launching as an independent urban hub. Agility, local identity and entrepreneurial courage characterise the new direction.
The MOA Berlin is opening a new chapter at the beginning of 2026: After ten years in the Accor franchise, the hotel on Stephanstraße will operate as an independent brand. The conscious decision to become independent marks a strategic turning point and underlines the ambition to develop the location's full potential beyond standardised structures.
As part of its repositioning, MOA Berlin is moving away from the classic hotel concept and redefining itself as a hybrid urban hub. Under the guiding principle Congress, neighbourhood & culture the hotel combines international business excellence with an authentic Berlin lifestyle and a clearly value-based corporate culture. The focus is not only on operational quality, but also on attitude, relationships and local roots.
This step is accompanied by a generational change in operational management. With Conny Doss (Commercial & Strategy) and Philip Ibrahim (Vision & Host), a dual leadership team that has characterised the hotel and its DNA for years is taking over responsibility. With entrepreneurial leeway and a clear vision, MOA Berlin is realigning itself as an independent Berlin brand for the long term.
