Berlin, february 2026. It was a special moment on the big stage: at the Intergastra trade fair in Stuttgart, the Hotel MOA Berlin officially as TOP training company certified. An award that confirms in black and white what we live every day in the neighbourhood: Training is not a compulsory task for us, but a matter of the heart.
More than just a seal: a promise to the next generation
At a time when there is a lot of talk about the shortage of skilled labour, we are sending out a clear signal. Violetta Mascheski (Supervisor Talent & Culture Team) accepted the certificate on behalf of the entire MOA team.
„This certification is a huge compliment to our trainers, who pass on their knowledge with passion every day,“ says Violetta. The special thing about the DEHOGA seal is that it is largely based on feedback from the people it is about - our trainees.
Why MOA Berlin trains differently
As an independent urban hub, we have freed ourselves from rigid corporate thinking. Under the motto „More than just a job“ we offer young talents a space that goes far beyond traditional bed-making or serving:
-
Responsibility from day 1: Our trainees are an integral part of the team and are actively helping to shape the transformation to an urban hub.
-
Diversity as standard: As a signatory to the Diversity Charter we promote talents regardless of their background - authentically and at eye level.
-
Focus on the future: We invest in modern training methods and offer prospects in one of Berlin's most dynamic hotel ecosystems.
A signal to our guests and partners
What does good training have to do with your next event or stay? Quite simply: Excellent service is the result of motivated people. When you stay at MOA STAY or organise a conference at MOA MEET, you will meet people who love their profession and ensure the quality of tomorrow. The award as a TOP training organisation is therefore also a promise of quality to our guests.
„We are building the neighbourhood living room of the future here. And that only works with a team that feels valued and can grow.“ – Philip Ibrahim, General Manager.
