Front Office, Reception & Guest Relation
The Front Office, Reception and Guest Relation departments in a hotel are responsible for welcoming and looking after guests. The Front Office is the first point of contact for guests and takes care of check-in, check-out, reservations and general enquiries. Receptionists and Guest Relation staff are responsible for providing excellent service to guests, handling their requests and ensuring that their stay is pleasant and comfortable.
Technology, Set-Up & Facility Management
This area of work is responsible for the maintenance and smooth operation of the buildings and technical systems. Their tasks include maintaining electrics, plumbing, air conditioning and other technical systems, designing and preparing event spaces according to guest requirements, and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment throughout the hotel.
Event Technology & IT
The event technology and IT departments in a hotel are responsible for the technical equipment of events as well as the smooth functioning of the IT systems in the hotel. Event technology supports the planning and implementation of events by providing lighting, sound and video technology. The IT department takes care of the maintenance, administration and security of the computer and network systems in the hotel in order to provide guests with an efficient and reliable service.
Housekeeping & Cleaning
The Housekeeping department is responsible for the cleanliness, tidiness and general condition of the guest rooms and public areas. Their tasks include cleaning the rooms, changing bed linen and towels, replenishing care products, checking room furnishings and general maintenance of the premises. They play an important role in ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay.
The kitchen department is responsible for the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and beverages in the restaurant as well as in the catering of various in-house events. Their tasks include menu planning, food procurement, food preparation, coordination with other departments and compliance with hygienic standards. They play a decisive role in the satisfaction of the guests and contribute significantly to the gastronomic success of the hotel.
Restaurant, Bar & Banquet Service
The Restaurant, Bar and Banquet Service department is responsible for serving guests in the various catering areas. They take orders, serve food and drinks, ensure that everything runs smoothly in the restaurant and meeting rooms, and make sure that guests are treated to first-class service. In addition, they are responsible for organising and carrying out banquet events and special events at the hotel, where they offer guests an unforgettable culinary experience.
Central Services & Administration
The Central Services & Administration department in a hotel is responsible for a variety of supporting tasks that ensure the smooth running of the hotel. These include managing personnel matters, accounting, procuring office materials, coordinating internal processes and communicating with external partners. They play a crucial role in the efficient organisation and management of all administrative matters of the hotel.
Talent & Culture
The Talents & Culture department in a hotel is responsible for human resources management and the development of the corporate culture. Their tasks include recruiting and selecting new employees, conducting training and development, promoting team spirit and creating a positive working atmosphere. You will help to attract, develop and retain talented staff for the long term to ensure a successful and motivated workforce.
Convention Sales, Sales & Marketing
The Convention Sales, Sales & Marketing department in a hotel is responsible for the acquisition and support of events, the sale of hotel rooms and the marketing of the hotel. Their tasks include the acquisition of conference and event customers, the development of sales strategies, the maintenance of customer relationships, the creation of marketing materials and the implementation of advertising campaigns. You play a crucial role in generating turnover and positioning the hotel in the market.
Revenue & Reservation Management
The Revenue & Reservation Management department in a hotel is responsible for strategic pricing, occupancy planning and room reservations. Their tasks include analysing market trends, setting prices and availabilities, managing bookings and optimising the hotel's revenue. You play a critical role in maximising the hotel's revenue and occupancy through effective yield and revenue management.
