Capital-forming benefits

As an attractive employer, it is very important to us to offer our employees additional employer benefits that go beyond the standard benefits.

As a rule, the employee is free to choose the form of investment. All employees and trainees with an income subject to social security contributions can receive these benefits from the first year of employment.

We have decided to pay all employees an additional 20 euros per month on top of their salary, which will be used for long-term capital accumulation and invested in capital-forming benefits (VL). We will be happy to share further details in the initial introductory meeting.

In-House Experience

Start your training with an Experience Night in the first three months of your employment to gain an exciting insight into all areas. This will allow you to get to know our company, the team and the processes at first hand.

Fair working hours

Your work-life balance is important to us! We plan our trainees' assignments with their school commitments in mind, especially when planning weekends before the school week.

Permanent contact person

Our trainees have a permanent training supervisor in each department throughout their training period. He/she is available at all times to answer any questions you may have about the training content and the training programme as well as, of course, your individual and personal concerns.

Training in all departments of the hotel

Exam Preparation & Training

Together we are strong! Of course, our trainers and team colleagues will support you in preparing for the GAB1 and GAP2 exams and will give you valuable tips from their wealth of experience right from day 1. We take into account the intensive exam preparation times and - if possible - provide extra help and start-up assistance at any time on request.

Remuneration in line with the local collective agreement

In accordance with the official training guidelines of the IHK and DEHOGA, our trainees receive remuneration in line with the local collective labour agreement in addition to our other benefits.

Reimbursement of textbook costs

After passing the trial period we will refund you 50% of textbook costs.

Cross-training in our partner hotel

It is particularly important to think outside the box when training - and what could be better than the exchange programme with our partner hotel? The 4-star superior Hotel Heidegrund is our partner hotel and is the perfect complement and counterpart to MOA Berlin. Many smaller conferences, weddings and private events take place at the conference & wellness hotel, and the holiday & wellness guests also want a different kind of attention than the conference & business guests at MOA Berlin. Our trainees are very enthusiastic about the exchange and have learnt to appreciate the diversity of our industry!
